I am trying to play Advanced Tactical Fighters (ATF) on an XP Pro SP-2A machine using DOS Box and D-Fend.
I messed around with the profile to get the game to actually load. I'm sitting on the runway and it takes about 2 seconds between squeezing the main cannon trigger on the joystick and before the gun actually fires. The game itself runs SLOW. I have it set to 20000 cycles but the more cycles I set, the slower it runs.
The game was fairly graphics intensive back in the day (no 3D support) but the game was very very fun. It had a good balance between realism and arcade flying but you could fly all kinds of planes, from the B-52 to the F-22 Raptor (or Lightning at the time) to the B-2 Spirit.
Please help!
