trust me, it doesn't work well. in my dorm last year, my room had 2 top bunks with the desks underneath. there was about 2 feet from face to ceiling. didn't work out when the now-ex came to visit 😉

dammit, i was planning on lofting my bed..... but i guess that's a good point. Lets just hope that my roommate doesn't mind the futon being defiled.

lofted beds are the worst thing ever... I had one during junior year. one night in September, I came home drunk and couldn't climb the ladder up to bed. so I pulled the mattress off, slid it over to a corner of the room, and slept just like that.

the mattress ended up staying there the rest of the year 🙂
