It's been a while since I've had Doritos. Like a long, long time, but I enjoyed classic Cool Ranch. Or as they're known in Europe: Cool American.

Is the taco flavor the one with the old school design on it? My wife bought those this week, I didn't really like them. I like nacho cheese the most and cool ranch as close second.

Yep, that's them. Eating a bag right now. :)

Love them, but can't eat them anymore.

I'm in training, and salty processed corn snacks are incompatible with dropping body fat :(

Haven't tried'em. I eat the nacho cheese like they're going out of style though. Might have to give'em a go at least once.

nobody can get more cheddar onto a single corn chip then frito lay. for that reason, nacho cheese is king.

I don't see a single negative thread crap yet, except your post. Everyone else commented on the thread topic, and no one called anyone out for eating Doritos in the first place.

Both Nacho & Ranch are good. Nothing beats the encrusted flavor & salt bombs you sometimes find at the bottom of the bag though.

What makes'em good? MSG.

Taco flavor is one of the few I hate. I love the super spicy, especially with a big glass of milk.
But my current diet wont allow such things.

FUN FACT:
Cool Ranch doritos are the best to use with melted mexican 4-cheese. Ideally finely shredded. Use a big plate and space them out evenly. Sprinkle shredded cheese, nuke for 20-30 seconds, depending on your microwave.

When they first came out here back in the late 70's, the only flavour was taco. They weren't bad.

regular corn chips were the bomb back then. BBQ was/is my favourite.

Doritos are alright. It's the only product that'll get me to break my Frito-Lay boycott. CoolRanch is the standby, but I like some of the spicy flavors, though I can't remember the specific names. It's always potluck, cause I can't remember what I got the previous time.

They have jalepeno and some others like that. Most arent good.

Also, Pepsi owns Frito-lay so your boycott should extend to all soda pops (just in case they have stock in the others) Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and KFC.

I can tell you the doritos I hated the most too:

Lime does not taste good as a chip to me.

The boycott is because of their buying shelf space in stores. The chip isle is full of second rate Frito-Lay products, while the superior choices get a small corner on the shelf.

I'm not particular about the other stuff, but I could count on one hand the amount of times I've used Pepsico products, or services last year.
