Local tire shop is giving me a good deal on a full set of Doral Tires. Anyone have any experience with them? The specs seem pretty good (87H, 400-A-A, 40k mile warranty) but I can't find any reviews on the internet about them.

The one in particular that is being offered to me is the Doral SDL50A 205/50-16 ..

We have a set on our mini van. They're doing better than the OEM tires. The only thing we noticed is that for the 1st 3,000 miles, you could smell them after driving.

Just another name made by Cooper, which is probably the most prolific tire maker out there., (Cooper makes the vast majority of the weird/off-brand name tires in the U.S.)

We put them on all of the passenger cars that we recon at the dealership. No one has complained in 7 years. If you just need a serviceable tire, there's nothing wrong with them.
