Door won't close :|

hi all

i've been living in this house for a while. sometimes the door to my office room doesn't close all the way... in other words, if i tried coming into my room from the hall, all i have to do is push it (no turning the door knob).

the weird thing is, my other upstairs rooms' doors are just fine. my office room is kinda small and faces the east. i'm wondering if the heat from the day somehow affects the door of this room. i have no other explanations. does anyone here know?

Ok, the previous owners of the house were hardcore Christians and used that same exact room as the computer room as well.

The couple also had a 16 year old son who looooooved spanking the monkey.

Well, one day the son forgot to lock the door and his mom opened the door to bring him some yum yums. As soon as she saw the young blonde getting ripped in half by the inseminator on the monitor, and little Johnny's Peter standing at attention, she dropped the plate and went running for her rugged manly husband.

As soon as she told him the story, her husband thought for a while, and used his strong manly muscles to warp the door so that it can never close correctly again.

Knowing this, little Josh stopped beating his midget.

Sounds like warped wood. How long have you lived there and has it been exposed to direct sunlight or a lot of water?

Edit: I guess humidity is a good one like the person above said, assuming it's very humid on a consistent basis in your area.

lived here for over a decade... the door itself isn't exposed to direct sunlight, although sunlight does enter the room through windows and eventually hits the door as well. not exposed to any water... i don't think it's that humid in here but just in case... how do i "dehumidize" the room?

I don't think there's an interior door in my house that closes and latches consistantly all year long.. but which ones fit and which ones don't vary by season and/or weather. fortunately, the door from the house into the garage is the only somewhat exterior door that's similarly affected.

Sad, everyone should be able to beat midgets 🙁
