My parents want to install cameras in the front doors area and at the back. Are there any products or combination of products that you would reccomend? A night mode on the cameras would be a plus.
I was thinking of grabbing a couple of those x10 wireless cameras and a ~6" LCD but I have no idea on the requirements. Like... how do the cameras receive power if they're wireless? How can I switch between the 2 cameras? Also, I'd rather not have them run through a server or anything like that. Maybe an LCD with at least 2 video inputs?
Any decently priced cameras that you reccomend? How about LCDs? I'd prefer something minimalist that would look good sitting in front of a wall (I have a feeling that the parents don't want me going near their wall with a saw 😉 ) Power for the LCD won't be a problem since it'll be near a light switch.
