door dings

No Lifer
not exactly a ding but a scratch created from another car door. I was fvcking gone for 10 minutes (wasn't even supposed to leave the car) and when I got back home I notice it.

What can one possibly do in this situation ... hypothetically speaking if you caught them... :|

Ding their door back! "Accidentally" of course!

I wouldn't worry about it on my car. It has at least 20 of them. People have no respect for the Chevy Cavalier!

Yes people do that. In high school I had a friend who was arrested for that. Arrested for leaving the "scene of an accident". Of course he had multiple driving problems in the past that didn't help.

I hope he found a better friend.

some a$$hole did that to my truck, not knowing the majority of any scout is usually 12g steel.. he pretty much gave me some "your trucks a pos" look, so I kicked out my door and nailed his..

this proves 2 valuable lessons:
1) always pick the underdog
2) they dont make em like they used to.

he's got a nice gash of my tehetian red right in the middle of his jet black silverado. made my day, thats for sure

Door dings are accidents. Any time a part of a vehicle touches anything and damage has been done, an accident has legally occurred. Driving off is hit and run. More people should get busted for this sh!t IMO.

good to know... I would've just given them a piece of my mind and left it at that because I didn't think insurance handles things like this. Next time I will get their insurance info if I catch them.
