Now, why this fits into P&N, In my opinion, to explain, because it is, as described by various political sites and talkers to be a mere "scare tactic" by the government, they say there is no reason for this airplane which is equipped with all kinds of sensors and communication devices to be flying extremely low over a dense city area.

The Airport stated the plane to be E-6 Mercury - Boeing 707

Comment: "this is normal activity" and "just touch-and-go exercises" all those are common reasons we have heard before, and why would supposably pilot training require a Doomsday plane anyways.

It always appears flying around, not landing for considerable amount of time


And others add their own points, in the spirit a proper debate.

Nobody's trying to claim anything, but it's an update to the previous encounters. Stuff like this just wasn't happening until recently, it's a pointless drill unless it's something classified.

You don't know a damn thing about aviation do you? Things like pilot currency, avionics calibration, test flights after C & D checks, .etc? Also, not many aviation centers can service the venerable 707 anymore, maybe that's why she was there?

That video is of an E-6. They do touch and goes, along with E-3s, in my city basically every day. We get the E-4s doing touch and goes around here a lot too.

But go near any air force base and you'll see their aircraft doing touch and goes. Sometimes they go to other airports that are less busy or just different for proficiency.

I have even seen the VC-25 (Air Force One) doing touch and goes in two different cities.
