Do you agree with this? They moved it forward due to "unchecked climate change, global nuclear weapons modernizations, and outsized nuclear weapons arsenals". Do you think that anything related to nuclear weapons has recently happened that puts us in any more danger? Especially global danger which is what I though the Doomsday clock was supposed to represent - the apocalypse.
I am with the 99% and agree that climate change is being influenced by humans and causing environmental problems (in fact I agree so much that the candidate that takes climate change seriously and will do something about it will more than likely get my vote irregardless of their other policy stances), but does it bring us closer to an imminent Armageddon? Three minutes to midnight worthy? I think it is more of a creeping but very real issue, that will slowly erode the viability of human life on earth, not like a nuclear war where life could be wiped out in a matter of hours/days.
