That's funny, I got the .zip straight from them. Being a GS Complete member rocks. Well worth the $$, and I've already earned most of it back in game savings.

I haven't used their plugin (no reason to with direct downloads), but I'd find it a bit odd if it had spyware.

Yeah not sure exactly what he was refering to with the spyware, but I just d/led it from their direct FTP link. Maybe only GS members get it 'free and clear'?

I am a member and it is a direct link. They use the Taki (or whatever it is called) which is a P2P client to try to aleviate a lot of the bandwidth whenever they release something big. I have only used it once or twice. They usually always post a direct link after a day anyway after most the people who want to get x have already downloaded it from their p2p client.

AWESOME...you have to see this video, shows much more of the game play plus lots of the bad guys, even got the spider from the original DOOM. This is going to be one scary game to play, can't wait.

Impressive visuals but most of it was just cut scenes. The HL2 vids that show actual gameplay are far more impressive IMO.
