Doom: Worst.....movie.....ever

i liked RE 1&2. it was mindless fun. no one wants to watch doom with me though. i dont really want to go by myself either. so i guess i have to wait a few months for the dvd

I don't know about the rest of you guys.. but i really liked the movie.. it was very entertaining. a true oldschool shoot them up...

I also thought it had some really cool game references... the pills that one dude took are like that one hyperactive mode in the game... and the 24th chromosome at the end for the other guy.. thats like God mode.. b/c for anyone who's ever played the game.. you can't beat it unles you're in god mode =)

one of the dudes being named duke... like duke nukem? haha its those little things that make a movie entertaining... It as kinda like a modern day rambo for me

I thought it was a fun movie. Different strokes for different folks. My expectations were not super high. Much better than 'Alone in the Dark'. Now that was a horrible movie.

my only thing i picked up that wasnt true to doom was the rocks nickname was "Sarge"

Sarge is the Quake 3 skin who had the cigar.

Hes a quake figure not Doom hehehee

the games they choose arent very well know for their story lines.



Half Life has a serious plot. Doom and what not really doesnt thrive on its story.

It is all about selling tickets. Whether you loved it or hated it, alot of people went to see it.

It sounds like there is a lot of violence and bloodshed.
Therefore, there are at least 2 reasons why this movie is good.
I shall see it one of these days (perhaps after it comes out on DVD)

that was one hell of a movie. i loved it for all the action and the twist ending. it would have been really cliche if the movie ended with the Rock and the BFG going into a final showdown with the big gnarly thing.

Wow this movie totally blew. I went to see it (with an open mind) anyways despite all the reviews, and it was terrible. The acting sucked, the action was soooo weak (only good scenes were the fight between monster - black guy in pit, and I guess the FPS view + chainsaw was descent), and the storyline was R-E-T-A-R-D-E-D.

To whoever is comparing Doom to aliens or starship troopers, your smoking mad crack, this movie does not even compare to any of the 2.

Don't waste your money.
