As soon as the Rock turned "bad" it went completely downhill. The FPS sequence was like something out of a bad arcade light-gun shooter... though with rediculously good graphics.

so true. stop the movie when he turns bad youll enjoy it much more. movie was decent 3/5 but much better than any other game adaptation (RE2 was good though)

Totally overrated, and that's speaking a lot considering how much crap it got at the same time.
Touted as the best video game movie, and I enjoyed resident evil, but Doom was just absolutely horrible. The rock is a ****** actor too.
