Doom III Release Date

Not that the date isn't subject to change, but EBWorld is selling Doom III pre-order already.

Release Date: March 31, 2003.

Now THAT'S what I call a pre-order. 10 months... by that time they'll be GeForce 5's available.

Thats weird, I could of sworn that this game would be out in time in time for the Christmas season... but then again I remember reading an interview of one of the programmers at ID stating that Carmack would have their heads if it didn't come out by 2003... so I guess EBWorld's date is more or less the target.

Amazon had it penciled in for a November 2002 release. However, I saw an official advert outside E3 I think it was stating it would be early 2003. 🙁

It doesnt matter when eb or amazon or anyone else says the game will come out. Until it goes gold, its all up in the air.
