Doom 3 Start Up

Alright so I just got Doom 3 and it installs perfectly. But when I start to play the screen goes black like its starting and then it minimizes, goes to the desktop, and this blue and silver boxes pops up and says error or something like that. What the matter, is it the game or what?

"Something like that" isnt enough for us, we need you to look at it and copy the text into your post. It could be a lot of things.

First suggestion is to make sure you have the latest version of the game. I dont know what it is or where to find the patches. I stopped playing Doom 3 on level 3.

After that, the usual "Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date!" must be said.
 
So I just went and tried to update my graphics drivers, but during the installation a window popped up saying tha: "these drivers were not tested with your card and does not have the windows logo Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop the installation." If I do just continue whats going to happen? Will my video card like crash or what?

Nothing bad will happen if you continue, as long as the source is trusted, ie: nvidia/ati's websites.
