Athlon XP 2000+
Geforce FX 5200 64mb
256mb DDR Ram 333mhz
Windows XP Pro

Pros:

Graphics look amazing, even on lowest quality which i run it on.
The game is incredible it really draws you in.

Cons:

On my system the levels take quite a while to load
Occasional video card lag

Overall:

If you have a low end system like mine then you should be able to enjoy doom 3 quite well.

I love it!

Cool. My cousin can probably run this too then.

He's got an Athlon XP 1700+, 256MB RAM (upgrading to 512 soon), GeForce 4 Ti4200 with 128MB RAM, XP Pro.

anyone know if doom3 utilizes SMP? friend wants to get it but has a dual p3 933. combined, it's more than enough for doom3, by itself, well, ouch...

No, he meant 256 system ram which is 128 below the minimum recommended 384.
