doom 3 question

High Quality setting enables 8x AF by default, unless you override it in the CP.

so if i set AF to 4 or 2 or whatever, it will override doom3 right? i dont need 8xaf, 4 maybe, think ill see a boost in performance by lowering it in the display options?
