Oh, it might still very well be early. Gamestop is apparently selling a day early - but no one who "has it now" has posted box pics. 😛

when people read this they should understand that high also claimed ~70fps at 1600x1200 with everything cranked in far cry. 😉
 
I just bought it at Best Buy. They had a big aisle display of it by the cash registers, $54.99, has three CDs as noted.

Rollo!!! I live in Madison, WI. Anyway, I went to check out Doom3 at westowne Best Buy at around 1:30pm. they had nothing. where'd you get it?
 
so he got the store to give him a copy before they should of. when I worked at target we would get games somethimes over a week before the suppost to be released

Yeah, I intimidated them with my Rollo ways.....LOL

Gururu- go to the East Side Best Buy, they had a big display by the cash register with about 50 copies on it. There was one left on the shelf, the one closest to the XBoxes.

I was pretty happy to see it. Just finished installing it, thought I'd better check if anyone needs clarification.

BTW- I was pretty surprised at how low key it was. I remember having to leave work for a while to get UT2003 the day it came out. I suppose no one expects it to be there yet.

Meh. It was worth 10 piddly dollars to play it today instead of tomorrow or whenever it goes on sale. Also, getting it might be harder when John Q. Doofus knows it's in the store?
