Doom 3 final boss

So I finally got around to finishing Doom 3 and damn, that last boss was disappointing. It was one of the easiest, if not THE easiest boss of the whole game. The sarge/tank boss, spider bosses, and the hell boss were all much harder, imo.
While fighting the final boss, I just took out my chaingun and sprinted around the hell hole shooting the few demons that came out until my soul cubed charged up. The boss never hit me once, the only time I got hit was from one of those melee demons that jumped on me.
As a whole, the game was good, though I got REALLY tired of the same aliens over and over again and many of the locations looked the same. It was good for a few scares though.

Yeah. I was disappointed too. The ROE final boss was IMO, better. No gimmicks, no superweapons...just a boss w/ a sh!tload of hitpoints and his own fairly huge arsenal.

Discussing Doom 3 now?

Anyway, ROE is a much better experience than vanilla Doom 3.

Yeah, I didn't get around to finishing Doom 3 until now. After playing the original, I wasn't sure if I was going to get the expansion, but if it is better like you guys say, maybe I'll consider it.
