Heh. I was one of like eight people to install that.

I think it was in 2000. Very hard to get up and running. I basically stared at the command prompt, said "Yup", and rebooted to Debian.

Unless you're into coding or playing with microkernels, I don't see much point in it.
 
hey, I got Win98se on my internet-less desktop and it serve me right, of course WinXP is the way to go but I don't need it until I decided to play any game newer than UnrealTourney 2 🙂()

I'm not a poor ignorant person... I just happen to have a legitimate, non-pirated license for Win98, and don't have a legitimate license for winxp. Processor is an Athlon 1000, so not that obsolete yet.

Should I plunk down $100 for WinXP for what will amount to a loss? (in fact, my audio card will not function with my motherboard under WinXP)
