Doom 3 classic mod

I've had Doom 3 since October of last year and I still haven't played it because I haven't bothered playing through Doom 1 or Doom 2 because of the lack of mouse look. I'm assuming this mod is like Tenebrae for Quake where you can use mouse look. Is this mod worth it or should I just put up with the SNES controller (I thought it'd be easier than the keyboard. That's why I got it)?
 
mouse look has been a standard feature on all FPS games since Quake.

you don't need a mod for modern FPS's to have mouse look

I'm asking if the mod has mouse look. Not Doom 3. The Doom 3 Classic mod is supposed to be a total conversion mod where it's the first episode of the original. I was just wandering if they decided to only let you use the classic controls as well.
 
It works just like Doom 3, but has the levels from the first episode of Doom. It does have mouse look.

If you want to play Doom 1 and Doom 2 with mouse look, go to http://www.doomsdayhq.com/ and check out jDoom (there are other versions, but I've not used those). It allows mouse look for those games.
 
All I can say about classic doom for Doom3 is: Not. Friggen. Long. Enough. Seriously, it was awesome, especially when played with the Last Man Standing mod in co-op mode. But then it ends, and you are pissed off because you realize 1 episode is pretty damn short.
 
Its pretty cool. Kinda trippy when you start to remember your way around the map...then start hugging walls to get secrets. Wish D3 was more like the original Doom.
 
yeah, dude, i loved doom III classic!!! Only thing that sucked was that it was only like the first part of the game. Hey, that didn't get completed did it? If it did i would download it RIGHT NOW.
 
I downloaded that Doomsday engine along with the shareware version of Doom. It was fantastic! It looks like a slightly dumbed-down Quake engine!

I wish they would make another Wolfenstein.
 
Last time I tried the mod was months ago, maybe even one year ago. At that time, I thought the mod was awesome and preserved the fun of the original. There were bugs then, but they've probably got the thing more polished now.
