I felt that it needed its own thread though.
The closest one to shipping is EVGA with an ETA of 8/30/04 as soon as I find out other ETAs I will post them here.

Removed the GameVE Link due to shady practices on thier part.
EVGA seems to be stopping the Free Far Cry promotion at the end of this month and replacing it with Free Doom 3.
The XFX Card seems to be a special edition of some sort and looks to have a different box than the regular 6800GT box.
BFGTech now has a press release page up on the Doom3 bundle, it shows the sticker to look for on the boxes and the graphic may be a box shot(?) here

I have my xfx gt already and last piece to my puzzle,the motherboard, will be here monday so no more waiting for me I did get far cry free but don't have a dvd drive yet. Hopefully someone will come out with a better dual layer drive soon.

I picked up a PNY 6800GT for $399 at CompUSA last night. It included a free copy of Doom3.

Looks like gameVE is playing fast and loose with the "free" Doom III. Check out this page where they sell the exact same video card for $23 less if you don't get the box with Doom III:

I talked to BFG today about getting Doom# for the card I just bought but didn't have the game bundle, they told me I was basically out of luck. I did go to Frys (northern California) today and they did have a ton of PNY 6800GT cards in stock and ready to purchase. The cards had a Doom3 sticker on them but it was a recommend sticker to play Doom3 and not a game bundle sticker.

Yeah, I've seen the "Recommended for Doom 3" sticker on the BFG 6800 GT OCs, but I sure haven't seen one that says it has the game inside.

Weird... No info on the CompUSA website about getting a free copy of Doom3 with the PNY 6800GT but it was in their flyer and both me and my friend got a copy when we got our cards. I guess it's a YMMV at this point?

That is odd, CompUSSR had a page on thier site stating free doom3 with 6800GTs. I would consider this deal YMMV or B&M only.
