doom 3 and my pc

I have a pc I built over two years ago

It has
epox 8kha+ mobo [not flashed or with latest 4 in 1 s]
gave up tweaking years ago
512 mb 2100 crucial ram
1.6 ghz athlon chip
128 mb gf4win xp pro

Whats the max upgrade I can get with this mobo

Or would I be better off getting a new mobo and upgrading all components

You'll probably end up upgrading here. You're not going to get much above 640X480. What's your budget here? All is not lost, there are a lot of good deals out there these days!!

Check out this site here your setup may well be ok in the short term

if you read all the pages of the link I posted you will see that you current setup will play Doom3 all be it at 640X480 but it will be playable. Get the game first and then worry about upgrades.
