It's been that price there since early 2005. Not to knock your post or anything. It's not a very good game, IMO, but if the modders finish the Doom 1 conversion to Doom 3 engine, it would be well worth picking it up for that.

Huh, I hadn't read anything online about that conversion project. Got a name or a link for it? The first 1/2 of Doom 1 was absolutely a classic--fantastic level design.

FWIW, some of the local Targets have the Doom 3 expansion pack on clearance for ~<$10. I'd expect a "gold" holiday release to tie in with the movie with the original Doom 3, the exp. pack, and maybe some bonus content as well.

I'd like to see a Doom anthology DVD with everything officially released since Doom to the current projects, especially with a modernized windows launcher for the old WAD files. It'd be a good bundle for the younger set.
