I was just hanging out over at a doom 3 site and noticed there is a mod for classic doom conversion in doom 3. I think it's the Knee Deep in the Dead episode of classic doom.

My Q is, has anyone remade Doom 2 for Doom 3? I played classic quite a bit but one of my first gaming loves was Doom 2. I'd love to play it but I couldn't find anything for it but selected maps.

Anyone know of a full conversion mod?

Have you tried Doomsday? It's not a D3 mod, but a great standalone program for D1, D2, Hexen, and Heretic with new textures and graphics.
 
no I haven't seen that, I'll have to give it a look.

ID should release D1 and D2 with the D3 engine...I'd pay like $20 for both games..
