I was perusing through the local community bulletin board and found a FS posting. Seller was selling the following, a direct quote from her post:
"One is 4-year-old Gateway tower case (18 inches tall), cleared of everything including operating system, but has 64K RAM, CD-ROM drive, Pentium III, USB ports.
Other CPU is a 3-year-old Hewlett-Packard mini-tower, cleared of everything including operating system, with 64K RAM (I think), CD-ROM, Celeron, USB ports. "
I went and bought both for $40.00. Loading linux on the hp mini tower which is a 600 mhz celeron with 64 MB of ram, 8.4 gig hdd, etc
The other is a gateway p3 450, 64 mb of ram, 10 gb hdd, cdrom, tnt2 agp card, etc. All have modem, sound, network and both work like a charm.
