Ok, so I am buying a new car in upstate new york. i have family there so I am going to drive my car up, meet the guy w/ my new one and then leave my old car w/ family and arrange to have the old car donated. Has anyone done this and know the details of who to contact and who takes old car donations?
thanks.

I'm not sure about Dontating a car, but you can try to donate your car using :

www.donateacar.com or search google. I filled out some forms and poeple did email or call me back, but nobody ever took my old car. Apparently they don't like 1989 Buick Lesabres with big dents in them.

Only 112,000 miles, the 3800 engine in it. 4 BRAND NEW tires, runs like a champ. Can be yours....if the price is right, $500. Believe me you'll pick up chicks, plus it was a bench seat in the front so you can haul five hunnies instead of the standard 4. I only want to get rid of it b/c I got a 1987 Bonneville with 4 dents and a missing trunk panel.
