...you get a brand new 480W Thermaltake silent-pure power psu (to replace a 300W POS), a brand new 7000b-cu hsf (to replace a speeze whisperock), and 6 new 80mm Panaflo L1A's and your best system refuses to boot after the upgrade. :|
I'm guessing my motherboard is dead (I will know for sure tomorrow), I've got another system to test with, but I'm giving up for tonight.
(I'm a seasoned tech, so no need to offer help with troubleshooting.....although I might need a replacement nforce2-ultra motherboard (or processor) soon though
)

:thumbsup:
I got my main rig back up, bought an nf7-s and a mobile athlonXP2400+ from the fs/t threads. luckily I need only minimal driver updates and had to re-activate windows and office. downside is my new heatsink won't work with this board because of capacitor height
.

Got another 2400+ from Jeff7, but I just found out that I have somehow managed to nick a uCapacitor between my northbridge and cpu socket
I have a WTB thread going in FS/T at the moment. (if anyone has a spare shuttle mn31n or a biostar m7ncg 400 laying around I'd be thrilled to give it a good home)
