Don't you hate it when...

...you have some part of a song stuck "in your head," and it just won't go away? Well, that happened to me tonight. The only problem was, however, that I couldn't figure out what the tune was, and for some stupid reason I just felt that I had to know, and I wouldn't be able to get to sleep until I could find the answer!

The tune sounded familiar, and I finally narrowed it down to some Beethoven symphony. The slight difficulty is that there are nine of those, and they are all very long. Well, I finally (after spending half an hour listening to parts of each movement of all nine symphonies) found out that the one in question is the last movement ("Allegro motto") of symphony number 3 ("Eroica").

With that mystery solved, I can now go to sleep. Good night, collective member group of ATOT (good morning for those of you on the other side of the globe).

Edit: specifically, the part that I'm referring to is the quiet piece right after the intro.

Worse than that is when other people start humming the songs that are stuck in their heads and then they get stuck in yours!

Not long ago this kid I know started humming a song and it got stuck in my head. So I asked, "Dude, what song is that?" so I wouldn't be tormented. He laughingly replied, "I don't know..." I wanted to beat his face in. Five minutes later it hit me, "Led Zeppelin! Black dog!" Damn, I was so glad that was over...
