Don't you hate it when....

So I've been working around the clock on a project the last few days trying to get it done. I've ended up working through the nights passing out when I can no longer type or think coherantly, usually around noon.

I wake up today and look over at the clock and it reads 8:05. I get up and start doing my morning ritual for half an hour until I notice it's getting darker instead of brighter?!!

It was really 8pm. Bah there goes my plans for today. :|

I do it every weekend, I stay up friday and saturday til 6/7/8 a.m. and sleep til noon, usually have trouble getting to sleep on sunday nights 🙁

the crappy thing about working overnights / 3rd shift is that sleeping at night is so natural. on my days off, I have to force myself to stay up all night.

I do this every single week, I work till 3am or so on Tuesday and Wednesday and then 9am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday... It really screws with the amount of sleep i get.

I have been trying to make myself get up earlier on sunday, the end result is not enough sleep on the weekend 🙁

lol that sucks 🙂 i haven't slept since sunday night. probbaly won't sleep till tomorrow afternoon when i submit my process efficiency program proposal on AMD.

I think the worst part is that pretty much everything out there is geared towards day walkers. Especially if you live in a small town.

yeah. my days off are pretty sucky. I can go see a late movie (there's a theater in NYC that has 2 am showings on Friday and Saturday nights), but if I take any of my 9-5'er friends, they'll spend the entire time complaining about being tired.

so my nights off usually consist of me cleaning the apartment, watching tv, and playing video games.
