people make stupid ass remarks in meetings and belittle their coworkers?

This doesn't involve me but it was an observation. Today was our first meeting with the new company (bought out)representatives and this middle age lady made some stupid ass comment about another engineer which was totally uncalled for but some how she thought it was funny.

Why do you have to talk at all. If you have any particular question speak up else STFU. Some people seriously lack Corporate background and act like morons.

 

Corporation etiquette is a huge circle jerk.

true up to a certain extent but to belittle somebody is just stupid. The comment she made was totally unrelated to the subject and not funny. It was an important meeting because we were all being breefed on benefits.

My theory as of late is that the only way to get anything done is to talk in the bathroom. Seriously, you find yourself in the bathroom with a suit that you know. You briefly talk about that situation, and in less than 2 minutes, you've got your way because you can't comfortably hold that conversation any longer.
