The Author should be BITCH SLAPPED!

(although, over all the book was OK)
 
Hee, never real Neal Stephenson then. Man writes kick a$$ books... with horrible endings. He just can't seem to properly wrap up a story to save his life.
 
Just finished Counting Heads by David Marusek a few days ago... had an unusually abrupt ending -- like someone had ripped out the last fifty pages and tacked on a two-page epilogue.
