Don't you hate it when you miss your FedEx, UPS, USPS delivery?

I missed my Zalman NB47J heatsink and my Artic Ceramique and Silver 5 today :( I won't get it until I pick it up tomorrow after school. I paid a hefty shipping price too.

I never miss them. They miss me.
When I worked days from 5:30 to 2:30 they would come by between 1 and 2.
Now that I work nights from 1:30 to 10:30 they come by around 2-3.

Bastards!!!!

But I did sign the slip so they should drop off my Sempron tonight. Luckliy I live in a good hood.

I'm saying...

I think there should be a GPS locator on every single UPS truck, interfaced with a central server, connected to the web, that could show me, real time, where my freaking package is. That way, when I know the truck is getting closer to my house, I could leave work for an hour rather than stay home half the damn day.... Sure it would be [sarcasm]mildly[/sarcasm] expensive to implement, but think how much added business they would get if they were the only kids on the block doing it.

Parallelly, if that's even a word, I also think it would be great to implement this on school busses. How great would it be to not have to always worry how close the bus was in the mad dash to get the kids ready for school? How much safer would it be to not have your kids standing on the corner at 6:30AM on a dark winter morning any longer than absolutely necessary?

I'm just saying...

DAMN!
Thats actually a good idea.
Dont worry. An unmarked van will be by shortly to pick you up.
You wont be pestered with any good ideas in the future.

I just hate that UPS has the authority to leave packages with my neighbors without my say so. Not to mention the other problems I have had with them. Fvck Brown.

I don't usually miss packages.

my UPS delivery guy used to have a bad habit of not bothering to ring my doorbell, but I caught him doing it once and totally bitched the guy out for it. since then, no problems :)

No problems here. If no one comes to the door they leave the package in the leasing office. Saves me a 45 minute trip to the local hub.

I do, because I have to travel about 40 minutes+line (roundtrip) to get my package. Out of all the packages I have ever ordered, only one has been left at my door.

Called both ups and fed ex and both time the customer service person had the driver come back.

How do you know they are not going to come back for 1 person?? Have you ever tried??

I'm calling now to see if they can redeliver. Each time I called prior to this the lady never mentioned this. Two ladies both said I'm sorry the driver isnt' expected back until after the office closes. That SUCKS.
