What is dumb is how XP reserves multiple drive letters for these USB readers even if no media is inserted. On a network it is REALLY EASY to run out of drive letters!

LOL.... I love it when the blind try to lead the blind, but I'll save that for the Hardware forum.
 
buncha idiots in this thread. you cant change the drive letter of your operating system drive from inside windows. it wont let you and PM cant do a damn thing about it either.

i feel for you OP. xp definitely has issues when the main drive isnt C. i cant pinpoit it exactly, but i know it acts funny.
