Well I am a senior Computer Science major, and as most people here will agree with me, I have had my share of TAs who speak terrible English or no English at all. I have heard people talk about these people, everything from cussing them to borderline rasict jokes. Like "#*^@ can't speak a word of English, why doesn't he @!@$@ go back to where he came from" or "I hate even going to that lab because of him".
Well get this. This semester I am in a class with a hot TA! She is a foreign student from South Korea. She is really nice looking, bad has no taste in clothes or anything else. She speaks terrible English, I can't even understand her. But her classes are full all the time. Almost everyone comes to lab now. A lot of guys, try to talk to her, try to teach her how to pronounce better and some are even inviting her to come hang out with them!!!!
Isn't it strange how good looks suddenly change your image? Had it been some other not so good looking TA, everyone would have probably hated her and avoided her all togather.
