You start out planning to buy one thing and next thing you know you've spent twice as much and have five more items in your cart.

At least now I'm getting a Das Keyboard II and this cool thing.

I like shopping online. Where else can you shop in your underwear at 3 AM? I am not more a spendthrift online than in the mall or electronics store. I go with a purchase in mind and that is what I get and rarely anything else. I am not an impulse shopper. Evolution must be making you younger guys more and more like women all the time.

You paid $80 bucks for a blank keyboard??? Why didn't you just scratch the letters out of an old keyboard with a dremil? What a waste.

It's just that somehow the logic of "If I'm gonna spend money on shipping I should at least get more things so it lessens the total per item" makes sense whenever I've got my credit card and I'm buying something online.

I hate buying online because I don't like shipping as shipping for a part that weighs less that my morning piss magically costs $8 to ship or I can't have items from multiple online stores be shipped in one box. Man that would be cool, have a company that will combine all of shipments for your purchases you made online, that way you pay one shipping fee for shipping multiple items. :p Or get it at one store of course ;)

I signed up for the trial Prime shipping at Amazon, that definitely makes it too easy to order stuff..

Btw the compatibility of that keyboard is a lie, there is no way that could work in windows 3.1 unless you have a USB to PS/2 adapter which it of course doesn't mention and if it does come with a USB to PS/2 adapter, you can certainly use that in DOS...

Just like a women...."Honey I saved money today, everything I bought was on sale" but then again most of the stuff you really didn't need anyway. I rest my case. If you are shopping for multiple items getting them at one place to save on shipping does make sense but buying more stuff than you intended to get more out of your shipping is....just how a woman thinks.

You have to pay for quality. The Das Keyboard II is supposed to have the best tactile response of any keyboard currently produced.
I'm a programer so having a good keyboard is crucial, however much extra I would have paid versus buying another cheaper keyboard(and then dremmeling off the keys  ) is a drop in the bucket considering I'll have this keyboard through a bunch of computer cycles.

That's what I don't understand about some of you guys on this board. Nobody minds paying $300 for a video card that will be obsolete in 3 months, but the thought of spending a few extra bucks on a quality peripheral, especially one like a keyboard, mouse or monitor which is how you and your computer interact, just blows the mind.

Yes, my dvd player was suppost to be here today but did not show. Most likely delayed a day due to the snow. So if it shows up tomorrow I won't be here.

Well, when you're right you're right.
It was stuff I was planning on getting anyway though, I just didn't need it and was putting off buying it.
When there was something that I did need(a good keyboard) I just decided to buy the rest of the stuff.
