Someone posts an article showing how the USA is doing something bad, or that the economy is bad, Bush is bad, Iraq is failing, and on and on

And then the rest of the thread is basically an orgy of bitching by the same people over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over

What's the use?

Well......if you had ever read a paper..you know that the best dicussions of things are over things that people disagree with. I mean...can you really come into PN and see

Pabster posting a story on lil Mary who opened a lemonade stand and is embracing capitalism
Conjur posting a story on lil Johnny who got an A on his paper that was about Bush
Dave posting about a new plant that was actually opening...


What would the point be? Nothing, because that means things are working, most people are interested in things that are not working so we can give our opinion on how to fix them, or at least our disgust on the whole situation. If you want good happy lala news, It would be better to go look somewhere else

Complaining about people who complain seems a little counterproductive though.
