The UK company Thames Water has pledged to give £100, 000 to the charity Water Aid if they get 250,000 clicks on their website over the next 3 months. The current total is 30,000 clicks.

I think this is disgusting. They use the misery of the 3rd world for advertising purposes. What if they don't get enough clicks ? Will they then let people die ?

It's called publicity stunt. They get money for ads on their site, and they get people to know they exist. It's stupid, but that is their goal: They don't care about the people at all, they care about MONEY!!

I think it's great. £100000 isn't chump change. Personally, I think it's better than spending £100000 on ads featuring testimonials from stupid celebrities or something like that.
