don't u hate this?

when you ask your friend to come out for a night out, he/she gets insecure and ask who's going and ends up being indecisive if not enough people/people they don't know are going..

quite annoying.. especially among my asian friends. is it an asian thing?

It's not necessarily an asian thing, and yes, I hate it too.

Yup, same here. Though, I'll admit, there have been times where I am invited 3 different places and I won't give anyone a definitive answer until I decide who I want to see most so I'll just say, "I might already have other plans, I'll give you a call back soon." Sometimes I actually pull that line when I don't have plans yet but intend to. 😉 But it's not like I'm backing out after saying, "Oh yeah! Let's go!...Oh...he's going? Um...I'll call ya later."

i do that sometimes, but it has nothing to do with not enough girls going. just a convinient excuse when i don't want to go out 😛

that is because you are lazy 😛

no it's an *indecisive* thing and very annoying . . .

try to find more less-insecure friends - that way you have a bigger "pool" to choose from . . .

. . . either that or you should get friends that are EITHER "he" OR "she"; the "he/shes" can be rather weird.

😉

"quite annoying.. especially among my asian friends. is it an asian thing?"

It's only an Asian thing if you subscribe to the belief that Asians are submissive. Else, it's not the case that it's an Asian thing. It's just 'want to be in the happening' followers or shy people that give you that response. Leave them alone, and don't bother inviting them next time!

I keep asking this girl but she keep saying only if my best friend goes. I wonder what that means? 😛

It means she doesn't want it to be misconstrued as a date.

Personally when I do that it means I don't want to go and probably should just say no at that point.
