her intelligence.

Clearly stated thoughts, presented in a way to avoid confusion, and spoken in a sober manner that is the hallmark of good Leaders.

She is an absolute certified genius when compared with you know, that narcissistic spoiled brat Putin wannabe.

Stood up on her own two feet, 8/10.

My wife has a PhD in molecular genetics and has two masters in other aspects of biology. She's a genius and "not compared to", she just is. That does not mean she would be best suited to hold Office.

If that's the case, I'd say that any given developed country probably has at least a million "good leaders". IMO what you described is that I'd expect from anyone of average to slightly-above-average intelligence who thinks about what they're saying. It's not that hard. Which is why I think Trump's successor is likely to be treated like Jesus Fucking Christ (which IMO is potentially extremely detrimental to the US's recovery from Trump), because the bar for how a reasonably decent person and leadership candidate should behave has been set so low.

Perhaps, but millions of others were not her main opponent last year.

It's a shame she used her abilities for evil. With great power came great responsibilities and she failed those.

Firstly, I like to take a jab at Trump whilst trying to stay on topic whenever the opportunity arises, and being that both are politicians being referred to in a mostly political forum I thought the comparison was comparing apples with apples thus apropos for this thread.

Secondly, I'd like to congratulate your wife for being a genius. My daughter has achieved similar honors but needs to prove herself because of her youth, however I still think she's a frick'in idiot in so many other ways. :D

That aside, and being that my line of thinking was in "political mode" at the time, I'm thinking my second comment in that post sort'a meets the conditions your commentary is referring to?

Well giving Trump a boot in the ass is fine by me. I'm glad for your daughters abilities. You might think my wife was an ordinary person on the street because she isn't proud of herself. Her perspective is that she was born with a gift and the curiousity to take advantage of it and so objectively no better or worse than any other. She's admirable in many ways and I'll say it, the love of my life. I'm a lucky guy.

Back to politics. Hillary being intelligent isn't up for debate as far as I'm concerned, but the nature of people matters. I have my doubts about her and if we're going to put Trump against her then she's the superior person.

Great leader? No, but adequate perhaps. We ought to have candidates who at least show a spark of "the right stuff" and I see less and less of that. A leader who would be servant first. Someone who doesn't inspire with bulletpoint memos. One who seeks power to use FOR the nation and the larger would, not themselves.

Ahh, I was born with streak of idealism and shall die the same. That doesn't mean I'm wrong ;)

I guess she is good at remembering her lines. Movie actors sound great during the movie but catch them without a script and it's libtard city. I love how the audience cheered when Seth stated that Trump had no legislative achievements. Dumb on many levels because Congress is the legislative body and not Trump. Even though the Left tends to think the President and judges should make the laws, that's the job of our legislative branch. Also, the audience was happy over an apparent failure of our leadership to enact legislation which tells us all we need to know about how much left leaning nutjobs hate America and can't wait to tear it down.

Scripted as in she knew the question Seth Meyers was going to ask and already had well rehearsed talking points.

Yep, because most people (let alone presidential candidates) who have been trained for public speaking have a real problem being able to talk shop for five minutes without being carefully prepared for it first.

Believe what you want to believe.

Clinton does have a real problem talking shop and coming across as sincere or genuine, which is one of the many reasons why she lost the nomination to Obama and the election to Trump.

Trained BS artist that can't stop speaking like a BS artist for 5 minutes. So scared to actually tell the truth and not speak to people in a condescending tone.

She would have been a good president. She's smart, capable, and hard working. She's not the kind of inspiring leader Obama is but she would have made the country run well.

The main issue with a Clinton presidency is actually being shown right now in a Republican presidency. The Republicans in Congress would have done their level best to burn her down by any means necessary regardless of any actual merit to the issue. (see Benghazi attack, congressional investigation of) We would have been subject to an endless series of bullshit investigations and almost certain gridlock for four years.

Of course all of that is vastly better than what we have now in that she's competent, smart, and not obviously mentally ill. Sigh. Having a country run well is really hard when one of the two parties in charge of it has gone insane.

Not sure what is more vomit inducing. Clinton being a great president or Obama being an inspiring leader.
