seriously, anyone who secretly records themselves and then gets into a verbal conflict is just a flat out douche. Obviously he had the intent to cause a situation so I'm actually pretty pleased this guy was singled out and ended up not flying.

What if he had a razor blade tucked under his sac? Or maybe a fake penis filled with explosive gelatin?

We need to prevent these things from happening!

TSA needs some small penis awareness to prevent this type of behavior. I for one, right now, go into the full body scanner with a full on erection just for the lulz

TSA is simply a grand experiment to see how much mental abuse and public humiliation the American people will take from the gubmint before they physically revolt and kick the shit out of a public employee.

Wow, the airport threatened a $10,000 civil suit against him for leaving the screening when they told him to leave? Just...wow.

This is not OK. No one can seriously think that it is OK for the government to sexually assault someone. It is NOT OK.

Giving up my physical freedom and liberty for the illusion of security is not OK.

And it is an illusion. If they're not doing full cavity searches on every single passenger, then there is no point to an exterior "pat down". Waste of time, money, and carbon.

These politicians need to be voted ou....oh, wait. I forgot, the people who made this decision were not elected. They have no accountability to the general public, and they have no constitutional authority to be writing laws. This is gross abuse of government authority both by whoever put these people in the places they are and the people who are directly abusing that power.

Flying commercially isnt a right..

I like it how decided to hassle them, rather than just walk away and not fly..

I never have a problem with security at airports. But then again, I mostly travel domestic.

Flying commercially is a contract between me and whichever airline I choose to fly with.

I never agreed to give the government final decision over whether or not I'm allowed to fly, and I certainly never agreed to submit to sexual harassment as a condition of contracting a private commercial entity to convey me from one location to another.

Do you realize that within the contract between you and the airline you agreed to comply with government regulations and inspections?

Not sexual molestation without probable cause, I don't. That's neither reasonable nor warranted. Unless it is explicitly within the terms of the contract, it is not a legal search.

I don't mind going through a metal detector nor having my bags checked.

I do, however, have a problem with the government forcibly taking away my personal rights and liberties without my consent. That, my dear moron, is tyranny, and those who submit to tyranny willingly are party to it.

Dont get me wrong. I AGREE that it is wrong and should be stopped. But I don't think this guy is going about it the right way.

Unfortunately the way the airlines/TSA see it, you did agree to the search. The agreement is that you will "pass government inspection".

Again, I agree that these searches are invasive and generally quite worthless; but nobody wants to deal with them in any way other than simply putting on a show at the airport. I'm all for getting this fixed, but there has to be a better way to shine some light on it.

(also, i posted previously before I got near the end of the video, where it got much much worse)

Forgot to ask this.

How would people feel about this incident if it was a private security firm, rather than the TSA? (yes, there are airports that use private firms rather than TSA...)

What does it matter what they're badge says? They're still doing the same thing for the same purpose.

Only a matter of time until there's a website that tracks the location and work schedules of the hot TSA agents.

For those that said he went out of his way to bring this on himself try and get the full story. He went out of his way to not get scanned by going to the web-site and making sure it said the scanner was not there. The web-site was wrong and outdated.

http://johnnyedge.blogspot.com/2010/11/these-events-took-place-roughly-between.html
"Not wanting to go through them, I had done my research on the TSA's website prior to traveling to see if SAN had them. From all indications, they did not. When I arrived at the security line, I found that the TSA's website was out of date. SAN does in fact utilize backscatter x-ray machines."

http://www.aolnews.com/nation/artic...touch-my-junk-john-tyner-tells-agent/19716789
"He told the newspaper he was surprised to learn the airport had the machines because the airport's website said it did not."

(I was posting this in another thread, but it got closed for some reason. So it's going into this one.)

Similar story, expect it was a woman checking a woman. The descriptions sound horrible.

The TSA is going way too far.. There's been way too many articles coming out recently. I haven't been watching TV, but hopefully they're covering it too. I have my doubts though..
