Dont smoke weird marijuana.

WTF how did this drug cause all of that? I'm sure lots of people have smoked that shit without these side effects...

I had a friend in high school that smoked some weed laced with something, I forget off hand what it was, but it did the same. Lots of strokes and left him a cripple. Nice guy, but be like Colorado and grow your own weed. Don't buy from strangers kids!

This is what the war on drugs does. If this girl just had access to actual weed or didn't have some fear of having thc in her system, all of this would be avoided.

maybe if she just said no to drugs she would be fine now.

but some people don't want to hear that.

Drugs can be both medicinal as well as recreational. If used properly they are or can be, a positive experience.

The war on drugs is just as stupid as the war on terror and alcohol.

Most of you guys know this anyway but some folks dont think and need reminders. I seriously believe we should look at legalizing and regulating the stuff. Not just cuz of this one incident but in general.

Legalization would stop this crap and free up massive sums of money to be spent on productive endeavours. Since 1971, 2.5 trillion dollars have been spent on the war on drugs. See:

Break the Taboo Video from LEAP.

LEAP
Law Enforcement Against Prohibition is an international organization of criminal justice professionals who bear personal witness to the wasteful futility and harms of our current drug policies. Our experience on the front lines of the “war on drugs” has led us to call for a repeal of prohibition and its replacement with a tight system of legalized regulation, which will effectively cripple the violent cartels and street dealers who control the current illegal market.

I smoked enough weed in College/HS to construct a raft for a Haitian refugee family and never ran into any shit like this.

You never know what kind of chemicals and pesticides you wil find mixed in with your MJ. Duhh . . . . Its illegal. Criminals are handling it.

Not every synthetic pot is the same. Its unregulated. You have people making the stuff in their garage and selling it. It contains god knows what.

Sort of ironic that natural weed is harmless yet illegal whereas the synthetic crap is legal yet deadly.

This is my personal opinion.

Just because it is legal in one state, it does not mean it is legal according to the federal government. Did the FDA test this?

The Girl looks like a freak. Who knows what other drugs she is taking?

Many over the counter medications should not be taken together. Just smoking cigarettes has side effects. Some people with High Blood Pressure should not be taking Drugs like Viagra. Even when the FDA approves medications often they find problems later.

This need people have to take mind altering drugs whether it is Alcohol or whatever is a mental disease. People should learn to live in the Real World.

The article stated the synthetic weed is "doused with chemicals" to mimic the effects of real MJ. Sounds safe!! 🙄

I'll have to show this article to my kids to make them aware of this stuff and the dangers.

I understand that but why didn't the reporter try to find out what specifically was in the drug and how it caused this? I know, I know, the answer is that reporters these days are worthless hacks... I still want to know.

This is NOT marijuana! She was smoking k2/spice, and that shit is way worse then actual weed. And this stuff isn't always illegal for the people spouting that bullshit.

They just need to legalize weed and be done with it. Not only would it stop the majority of this bullshit, but there simply isn't a reason for it not to be if you're gonna have shit like alcohol legal.

And lol@idiots who say it's a gateway drug.

Love when these threads bring out the ignorant folk. I tried the k2 last year. Never ever again. I had literally hundreds of different thoughts every second. Outside of my body experience. Flushed all of it down the drain immediately. It had a f'ving wizard on it that said not for human consumption. Lesson learned.

Disclaimer: I'm 100% for the decriminalization of mj. Regulate it and make some money. Not sure how well Washington and Colorado will do but I hope its a step in the right direction.

LOL @ the people acting like alcohol doesn't destroy millions of peoples lives every day yet its perfectly fine because of the general accept ion society outs on it. Get fucked.
