i dont understand why i cant post coupon numbers here. I must be missing something, since it is a number, put on the internet, for people to use. Why is it taboo to post that number. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in ad revenue are lost by some fat kid posting a few digit instead of everyone searching for it which takes 5 seconds. If what I did was wrong, why do they let anyone who stumbles apon it see the code? I guess I'm just missing the big picture or something. I am sorry for breaking the forum rules, and I dont join forums because I cant remember rules since they always impeed the nature of the forum itself and I break them. So, #1 I'm sorry and #2 Why should people not post the coupy digits?

Cliff notes answer:
When we allowed coupons:
1. Members would post so many threads begging for them that it would knock the good deal threads off the first page.
2. Members would post to ask and tell how to get around vendors' limits on their use, including links to photochopped fraudulant copies.
3. We run computer oriented forums with a Hot Deals forum for the convenience of our members. We are not primarily a coupon/deals site. If that is you what you want, please visit those sites, and come back when you want what we have here.
Our forums are very large, but our moderators are still unpaid volunteers. We do not have the time or patience to deal with a bunch of crazed coupon kiddies trying to defraud the very stores that offer the items they want.
