Don't mess with MULES!

Aren't mules sterile? I'd be pissed off enough about that myself to take on a mountain lion and kick it's ass! 😀

Yep they're sterile. They mis the chromosome that allows the to reproduce. I forget how many chromosomes donkeys and horses have but it's different, so mules are sterile.

Hey, just because they can't get laid doesn't mean that can't enjoy eating ...

Well, you get my point! 😉

It doesn't look dead in the first pic... besides, why would it be picking up a dead mountain lion?

I am thinking the mules owner was hunting with the dog. He killed the lion and the mule was excited/agitated by the lions smell so he "attacked" it.
Just an assumption on my part as it is highly unlikely that a mule could take a healthy lion.
I would also assume that if there was a battle going on the dog would be trying to get in on the action.

Still, I've been nailed pretty good by a HOUSE cat before.
I wouldn't wanna mess with even a BABY cat that size!

In my prvious post, I mentioned that some farmers are using mules to guard sheep (instead of using a sheep dog). Mules are a lot tougher than most people give them credit for.
