The generic ram in my box is driving me nuts. It is pc133 and it doesn't like running at 133 MHz...:|
My IE always gives me random error and closes all the IE windows. However if i set my fsb at 100 MHz it would work fine. WTF??
My generic PC 133 is crappy too. I am tossing it out and getting some real memory. I get all kinds of errors unless im running it with a Celeron (at 66 Mhz FSB).
Well, I know generic means it would go very far out of sepcs, but I do expect it work "at" specs! I had a good experience with generic ram before but this is really sucks. Now I think I have to join the chorus, "Crucial all the way..."
You would be surprised how low the quality is of generic hardware. It's seems as though no test are done to ensure quality. I will never buy generic again. I have made that mistake in the past, and I regret it terribly. Such a waste of money.
