I recently deleted my FaceBook and MySpace accounts.
I signed up for FaceBook because a friend wanted me to view his photos, ok, no big deal. I signed up for MySpace because another friend wanted me to play a MySpace game called Mobsters with him.
After about two months I didn't check either... deleted. If people want to send me photos I just give them my email address.
As for the "networking" part, well, real networking... that's what LinkedIn is for.
They can send you a URL to the photo album without you needing to be a member.
