Don't let this happen to you... Edit: Maybe not

Edit: Ok, just tried it in another system and it worked fine. The second system was a Celeron 550 running on a BX board, so maybe this is an issue with my Kt133 system and Windows XP?

Two days ago I noticed that any thing using 3d would lockup my machine, well long story short.... I opened it up and noticed the fan on my Geforce 2 GTS had burned out... I replaced it will a Blue Orb and it still locks up. I underclocked my card as far as Powerstrip will allow and I can play for about 20 seconds with all kinds of artifacts on the screen before locking up.

This looks like a burned up chip to me, but does anyone know any problem with Win XP pro and a Geforce 2?

I'm using the newest detonator driver with the newest 4in1 drivers.

Thanks guys!

Anyone experienced this type of prob before?

btw: My machine is total unaffected (runs perfect) when doing 2d work...

The 4in1 4.33 are integrated into XP by default. Meaning you do not NEED the 4in1's but you can install updated 4in1's beyond what XP has natively.
