Don't Laugh: Banshee Win2k (?)

I have installed a 3dfx Banshee, yea you heard me a 3dfx banshee in my pc using win2k. I have the latest 3dfx beta drivers for win2k, but I can't play D3D games OR Glide!

Does anyone know of a site where I can get hacked drivers that some guys created for win2k?

Pretty Please. I have till the end of summer (because I'm making money for it as we speak), to spend 2k on the best damn rig in the world.

Until then I'm trying to play some old glide games on my PC

So can anyone help me out and tell me where to get some good quality drivers?

Try searching, there was a thread a few days ago with a link to drivers that worked for the banshee in Win2k.

Do an internet search on Banshee drivers and take your pick.

It is not just a "take your pick" with the 3DFX cards in Win2k.

It's what I did and it works great for me. If you don't find success on the first try give it another go. The worst that could happen is a system crash and you might have to do a clean reinstall. No Guts! No Glory!

that's really odd because i could get the beta win2k driver to run flawlessly under win2k try reinstalling them..and also make sure you have atleast directx 7 installed

i heard the banshee (yes, i have one too, but it currently sits in a box) won't do 3d in win2k. but my friend sent me some mods that you make to the .inf driver file that SUPPOSEDLY he made and got 3d working on his banshee in win2k. i tried them, and games far for a few seconds (better than before!) but still crashed.

but 2d seems pretty respectable (though not much fun) . hehe

check the above out, because they apparently got UT to work in win2k with a banshee.
