So I've been living in the same area for all of my life. My job is great, but everything else seems completely tired and boring.

Has anyone else just got fed up with their life and made serious changes?

Is it worth being unhappy to keep a great job?

Anything I can do to get out of this funk?

Um... go out and meet new people, attend social event, hit a bar, take a dance lesson, start a new hobby...

I've not gotten fed up with my life and made serious changes, but circumstances have led me to make serious changes in my life.

I've considered just quitting my job and travelling......

How about keeping your job and taking some time off to travel before deciding to quit? Or you could start looking for a different job in another city.

Well, right now I'm placed at a company from another company.

I'm trying to get hired on Full Time by this company, so thats part of why I've been working so hard...

But I'm just not sure I'll be happy after that.....

Maybe I'm just stuck in the wrong career......

And what is your career? Your background?

I'm only 21 and not out of college, so I can't say I've been there. But I can understand how it could get that way, I just hope I don't get in that same rut.
