Instructional Coordinators
Occupational Therapists
Radiation Therapists
Teacher, Middle School
Teacher, Secondary School
Teacher, Elementary School
Food Service Manager

What the f***... My current job is a combination of the top 3 dealing with maps and I want to cut myself every day I'm there. I've been essentially doing the job for the past 5 years -- one of the most soul sucking, mind numbing things I've ever done.

Screw the next three... I actually am thinking of becoming a teacher. Too bad the career field is so damn saturated -- like every other job out there. And I don't feel like going back to school right now. Might have to because I can't take my job anymore.

All my results were in the healthcare field. Pharmacist, vet or physician.

Tried like hell to make it suggest "lawyer," but couldn't get the test to cooperate.

It's presumably designed to offer degree programs that are available through Rasmussen College.

I took the short bus to the short test and all I got was this lousy short list:

  • Cartographers and Photogrammetrists
  • Surveying and Mapping Technicians
  • Surveyors
  • Archivists
  • Curators
  • Museum Technicians and Conservators

Captains, Mates, and Pilots of Water Vessels
Farmers, Ranchers, and Other Agricultural Managers
Construction Managers
Computer Support Specialists
Dental Hygienist

This test can't seem to decide what I should do, much like me. :D

Edit: It seems to be biased towards recommending healthcare professions. There are about 15-20 different healthcare jobs in my first 30 results.

All healthcare jobs with computer support specialist thrown in. Accurate I guess since I effectively do that role in a healthcare setting.

my tops:

Archivists
Curators
Museum Technicians and Conservators
Medical Transcriptionists
Architectural and Civil Drafters
Electrical and Electronics Drafters
Mechanical Drafters
Barbers
Hairdressers, Hairstylists, and Cosmetologists

Interpreters and Translators

those two in bold, pretty funny because back in high school i took a really long involved test to see what career path i would be good at and hairdresser was on the list then as well!

maybe i missed my calling....

the museum/curator thing actually does sound pretty cool.

I wonder if the test is skewed to recommend more often careers which are in the degree fields which Rasmussen offers.

Pharmacist and a bunch of engineering disciplines. Degree is in EE, so I guess I chose the right major even though I'm not working in an EE field now.
