When I reply in tapatalk, it pulls the wrong quote. I feel as this is tapatalk, not the forum.

It can be seen in some of my posts.
 
It's probably Tapatalk. The forums have never done this.

When in doubt clear your Tapatalk cache and try again.
 
I have seen such once or twice using tapatalk.
when that happens, I usually stop trying to quote or find something else to kill time
